This Mount Washington set includes two bulb shaped decanters with the swirled base and leaf design. The leaves radiate from the base of the bottles. Both of these EAPG decanters come with their original stoppers. In addition to the 2 bottles, there is a powder puff box with lid.
Sometimes these type of old bottles are referred to as vanity, perfume, scent, cologne, barber, or dresser bottles or decanters. The covered powder puff box can also be used for jewelry or trinkets.
Material: Milk Glass. This milk glass on the bottles are an almost pearlized milk glass; it is not satin. The powder puff box is definitely satin.
Colors: White Milk Glass, known as Opal or Opaline
Bottles: 8 x 5 inches (at its widest point – the belly)
Stoppers: 4 ½ x 1 ½ inches (at its wides point – the rose head)
Height when Stoppers are on the Bottles: 10 3/4 Inches
Box: 2 ¼ x 4 ¼ inches (at its widest point – once again, at the belly)
Lid: ½ x 3 ¼ inches (at its widest point)
Height when Box is Covered: 3 Inches
When Created: About the 1895 - 1905
Maker: Mt Washington
Pattern Number: 2371, known as "The Leaf Bottle"
Where Made: New Bedford, MA, USA
Bottom Marks: I found one mark on the inside of the lid. It is marked with the letter “G”, with a backward letter “C”, and then the number “7”.
Glass Condition: Very Good. As it was formed. There is a stain on both of the bottles from the contents within. It is wear the liquid, presumably cologne, had remained in the decanter for quite some time. There are no cracks, chips (to include around the bottle lip), hairline fractures, or repairs on any of the six pieces.
Bottle and Stopper Paint Condition: Good. Much of it has worn off due to use– especially the faint background blue.
Box and Lid Paint Condition: Excellent. Since this milk glass on this piece is satin (also known as doe skin) the paint adhered to it much better than to the pearlized milk glass on the bottles and stoppers.
Bottle and Stopper Gold Paint Condition: Very Good. Most of it is still there.
Box and Lid Gold Paint Condition: Excellent. It has remained thru the years.
You are purchasing this six piece Mt Washington vanity set, which includes two leaf bottles with their original stoppers, as well as, an accompanying powder puff container with its original lid.

All orders received by 8:00 PM Eastern Time are processed (mailed) the next day. I usually drop off packages at the post office in the morning six days a week; I normally drop off packages to the UPS drop off point in the afternoon five days a week.
- Etsy does not have a system where we can list UPS as an alternative. I ship via USPS or UPS, whichever is least expensive and quickest. I refund shipping overages paid by you.
If the shipping calculation is over by more than 50 cents, I will reimburse you. Yup, I will reimburse you 50 cents.
If the shipping calculator is under by any amount, you will not know about it; that is, I will not request that you make any further payment because of an error of mine, the calculator, or the system.
My normal hours seven days a week are 1:00 - 9:00 PM. I answer questions within two hours during this time.
On my off hours, I will normally return your question as soon as I open up for the day.
I do not operate with any smart devices - only dumb ones, as they simply do not work in dead zones, so I periodically throughout my day check the old desktop.

Returns can be made for any reason whatsoever. You will receive the original cost of the item and the original shipping. I do not charge a bogus restocking fee. Be aware that the cost to return the item (shipping) will not be reimbursed to you.
As you may or may not be aware, shipping insurance benefits the seller. I normally pay for the insurance, if any. The only time, you (the buyer) would pay for the insurance is if YOU request it.
I do not normally buy additional insurance as I tend to pack for a nuclear blast...or, at least, for war.
