Here is an example of some Mt Washington Glass.
This antique milk glass condiment set of salt, pepper, and mustard containers is complete with all the respective lids. The base is scalloped and has a handle.
The base color is, naturally, white. It has been hand painted with a cranberry red at the top of the glass and then it disappears – fades out. The jars are all painted with brown ferns. Once again the fading affect is carried thru – but starting at the bottom instead and then disappearing towards the top.
This is the antique blown and pressed fern condiment set and it is identified as such. There is a vintage condiment set, made by Imperial in the 1950s. The Imperial vintage set is a bit different; along with the obvious newer jar tops and lids, the motif painting that Imperial had applied is completely different. It is a beautiful set, but it is not this antique set. If you are looking for the vintage set; this set is not for you. I have seen online some of the vintage sets identified as antique, so please be aware of what you are buying. I have also seen sold online the antique base being sold with the vintage jars; once again, please educate yourself and be aware of what you are purchasing.

Base Paint Condition: Excellent. As it was applied with all of its imperfections since it was hand painted.
Base Glass Condition: Very Good. There are no chips on the top or the bottom. There is discoloration in one of the sockets.
Base Handle: Fair. It is a bit rusted.
Paint Condition of Jars: Excellent. Once again, as it was applied with all of its imperfections since they also were hand painted.
Glass Condition of Jars: Excellent. As they were formed. Please note that the glass of one of the salt/pepper containers is quite thick; but that is how it was formed. It, no way, affects the lid positioning on the jar.
Metal Lids: Good. You can tell they have been used. The lid to the mustard container has a littler green Verdi, but not much. I cleaned it a bit, but I did not go crazy.
Spoon. The spoon is not original to the set. I have no idea if they originally came with a spoon. But either way, this one is silver plated and was probably created sometime in the 1950s. It is marked with “GERO ZILMETA“. It is in excellent condition and is stainless steel. It is almost 4 1/2 inches long.
You are purchasing and will receive this condiment base, the three jars, the three lids to these jars, and the cute little mustard spoon.
I have provided you with several pictures. I hope, the pictures along with this lengthy description, will give you a sense of how very special this set is.

How long does it normally take you to ship an item?
All orders received by 8:00 PM Eastern Time are processed (mailed) the next day. I usually drop off packages at the post office in the morning six days a week; I normally drop off packages to the UPS drop off point in the afternoon five days a week.
- Etsy does not have a system where we can list UPS as an alternative. I ship via USPS or UPS, whichever is least expensive and quickest. I refund shipping overages paid by you.

If the shipping calculation is over by more than 50 cents, I will reimburse you. Yup, I will reimburse you 50 cents.
If the shipping calculator is under by any amount, you will not know about it; that is, I will not request that you make any further payment because of an error of mine, the calculator, or the system.
If I contact you, when can I expect a reply? What are your normal working hours?
My normal hours seven days a week are 1:00 - 9:00 PM. I answer questions within two hours during this time.
On my off hours, I will normally return your question as soon as I open up for the day.
I do not operate with any smart devices - only dumb ones, as they simply do not work in dead zones, so I periodically throughout my day check the old desktop.
Are there any other requirements to return an item? For what reasons do you allow returns?
1. You, the buyer, shall ensure the items are received by me in the SAME condition in which you received it. You are not required to use the original packaging and box. Feel free to use your own if you so desire
2. In addition, please provide me, via a convo, the tracking number within one eight calendar days of receiving the item.
Returns can be made for any reason whatsoever. You will receive the original cost of the item and the original shipping. I do not charge a bogus restocking fee. Be aware that the cost to return the item (shipping) will not be reimbursed to you.
Do I, the buyer, pay for shipping insurance?
As you may or may not be aware, shipping insurance benefits the seller. I normally pay for the insurance, if any. The only time, you (the buyer) would pay for the insurance is if YOU request it.
I do not normally buy additional insurance as I tend to pack for a nuclear blast...or, at least, for war.
Do you accept offers?
